[who i admire]

so i know this girl...

she is such an amazing example to me and i hope she knows that. I can talk to her about anything! she makes me want to be better each day!

she is the strongest person i know.
she does not hold grudges against anyone.
she lives her life to the fullest and has no regrets.
when she falls she gets back up again.
she does not show it when she is mad.
she is fun and uplifting to be around.
she has her priorities straight.

i honestly don't know what i would do without her! I would not be the person i am today without her in my life!

you are the sweetest thing and i look up to you so much! don't ever change!!

love ya girl! :)

[Drill]

Tryouts are finally over!!!! Yes that means we have our team 2011-2012 Cavettes!! I am so excited to be back to my busy schedule!

Everything went they way i was hoping for! The tryout dance was super cute and just perfect! (besides the part where i get in the car and the only song on the radio is our tryout song)

I just have a good feeling about this year!

There is one thing that is holding me back and i don't know why! ...

this morning the 2nd year and older girls, we woke up all of the new girls and brought them to my house for breakfast! I noticed that the new girls did not talk... this is a major issue! I know that we just barley met each other but honestly i am a little nervous for this. I just loved last years team that i don't know how i m going to make it through the year without Kilee, Brinley, and Brianne. I will love my new team so much, but it is not the same. i can tell that our team this year might end up having some clique issues and i will try my best to not let that happen!

I just want to place at competitions. It is hard starting off with a new coach. its like starting drill all over again for the first time. but i think i will end up loving McCall! i just hope the best for my team this year!

im just a little worried. but i am super excited to get back into routine again! :)

[Driving]

Remember when you were 15 and how excited you were to get your drivers license?! i was counting down the days ever since i turned 15! Driving was exactly what i was hoping it to be, and more! Driving with all the windows down, getting to be in total control of the radio, Not having to wait for your mom to take you places, being able to drive to your friends house whenever you want, and much more!

the best thing about driving is going to drive up windows by yourself and ordering food. i went to Sonic the other day and i ordered the best of all, medium strawberry lime-aid! the guy at the drive up window was flirting with me super bad. and when he gives me my drink, he told me that he gave me a large instead of a medium all on him! he then gave me a huge smile. i said thanks and drove away. now think about the story if my mom was driving me. yeah that's right, we would have not got the large! this is the advantage of driving! guys at the drive up window hit on you!

the bad part about driving is going to the bank by yourself. when my mom is in the car with me, she tells me what to say to the bankers and tells me what to write on the deposit slips. Well i had to put some money into my account, of course i was by myself this time, and i did everything perfect... until i drove away. i forgot to put the tube back in the slot and i drove away with the tube! i got half way home and i noticed that the tube was on the seat next to me. so i turned around (even though i did not want to) and i went back to the bank. i jumped out of my car and took it to the person that was at the station i was in before. He did not know what to do because there was no tube there. he laughed as i handed it to him and apologized for being so air headed. i felt so dumb. i know that this would not have happened if my mom was in the car with me.

its just so nice to be able to take myself places! i know that i will get sick of driving later on in life, but as of now... i absolutely love it!

[Remember when...]

  • you did not have to do your hair and you did not care if it just hung in your face

  • you did not have to take a whole hour on picking your outfit for the next day and just throwing something random on.

  • you thought boys had cooties and you wanted nothing to do with them

  • you would play dress ups and barbies with your friends

  • you could wake up 10 min before school started and not care about getting ready

  • you put on make up for fun

  • you and your friends did crazy things and did not care to look stupid

  • you would cry when your mom told you it was time to take a nap

  • you would take a tin lunch box to school

being a little girl was simply wonderful! it was like you lived in a different world! you did not care about what you looked like or how people think about you. isnt it funny how that changes once you hit Jr. High and even High School. You are only a kid once... i can honestly say that i kind of miss that! but... being a teenager... well thats a different story!
