Personal best of 21.4 ft (measuring from the dock to butt) at his first competition at Soldier Hollow. He was classified in the Professional category on his first competitive jump! this video is kyle throwing the stick. watch were he lands its great! he did so good!!! can't wait for FINALS on MONDAY! after he jumped the announcer said: welcome to the finals!!!

[my dog]
Rex jumps in a nearby canal and we always thought that he can jump really good. so just for fun, we entered him into a dog jumping competition with Splash Dogs up in Heber. Kyle jumped him in the Adult devision and I jumped him in the Jr. devision. I got rex to jump 21.4 ft. while dogs that have been jumping for many years that got 16 ft. Rex has only been doing this since July (3 months) if a dog can hit 20 ft he is in the Pro devision. so me and kyle are pro dog handlers!!! funny right? once rex jumped off of the dock, the announcer said... Welcome to the FINALS!!! haha the crowd went crazy! he took 4th place with kyle and 2nd place with me! so now we get to go back on Monday and go against the top 24 dogs!!! I am so excited!
